Looking for a budget-friendly way to decorate your table for Valentine's Day? With just a little imagination, it's easy!
Check your local dollar store for white and red aromatic candles of various sizes and place them lovingly on the table in votives, candle holders, or on small plates. Wrap red ribbon around white candles for an elegant touch (shown above). Remember to never leave candles unattended. Keep in mind that battery-operated tea lights can set the mood too!
Of course, no flowers celebrate the season more than classic red roses, but consider other blooms which are more affordable. They will still have the same impact and bring a burst of color to your table setting. Use bright, cheerful napkins or napkin rings to add a splash of color to your table!
Use red candy to fill up a glass vase(s) and add white or red carnations. Can't find inexpensive fresh cut flowers, use silk flowers instead.
Are you crafty? If you have scrap felt left over from another project, cut red or pink hearts in different sizes and scatter them on your table!
Last but not least, keep in mind that you do not have to use red or pink as your color scheme. The lilac-colored napkins work well on the table shown above. I love the heart-shaped ornaments, but these could be a challenge to find at this time of the year.
I hope this post has inspired you! If you decide to create your own romantic or festive tabletop, please come back and share images of your handiwork!!
Valentine's eye candy! I love them all, and this post is putting me in the mood to decorate for Valentine's Day!
